| Commited to service
In 2003 Carol Hillson became personally involved as a volunteer and leader within the Campaign for a U.S. Department of Peace. Soon after, she helped found New Yorkers for a Department of Peace; a local chapter. She studied Nonviolent Communication (NVC) for several years, attending the North American Leadership Program with BayNVC in 2007 and 2008. She went on to study restorative practices at the International Institute for Restorative Practices (IIRP) in 2009.
Since 2003, Carol Hillson Creative has offered discounted and pro bono design services to various organizations dedicated to promoting these essential skills. Below are some of our favorite organizations whose work we have helped support both through design as well as personal involvement.
